Felixstowe Port Inaugurates New Rail Terminal


News: A new rail terminal has been officially opened by the port of Felixstowe in the UK. The launch of the new rail terminal has resulted in increasing rail capacity at the Felixstowe by twofold. The new North Rail Terminal also enables the port to lodge trains of as many as 35-wagons' length. GBP40mn (US$62.2mn) has been invested for the development of the new rail terminal, which is co-financed by the EU Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) programme.
