E.ON Inks LNG SPA With Qatargas

News: E.ON Global Commodities, a subsidiary of German energy company E.ON, has entered into a five-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Qatar's state-run LNG company, Qatargas. The Qatari firm will start supplying an annual volume of around 1.5mn tonnes of LNG from January 2014. The LNG will be supplied from Qatargas 4 (Train 7), a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell, and is to be delivered on Q-Max LNG ships to the Gate LNG Terminal in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
