Education Drive In Trouble

News: Thailand's One Tablet Per Child project appears to have run into difficulties after reports emerged that 30% of the 860,000 devices distributed have broken down a year after the initiative was launched, reports The Register. It was hoped the endeavour would reduce social inequality, improve learning and combat teacher shortages. The devices were manufactured by Shenzhen Scope Scientific Development and were distributed by Advice Distribution, which has also been tasked with maintaining and repairing the devices for two years.
