Deputy PM Dismisses Talks Of Increased Healthcare Spending

News: Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets dismissed all talks of increased spending on healthcare in Russia at the 110th anniversary of the Morozov hospital on September 6. Golodets said it was 'premature' to discuss the issue as the country's current healthcare costs do not exceed 3.7% of GDP. Earlier, at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 21, Golodets had announced that Russia's healthcare spending would rise to 6% of GDP.
