Crude Imports From Iran Increase

News: South Korean imports of crude oil from Iran more than doubled to 4.12mn barrels (bbl) or 137,467 barrels per day (b/d) in September 2013, according to figures published by state-owned Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC). South Korea's imports of Iranian crude were 1.97mn bbl in August 2013, KNOC said. It did not import any crude oil from Iran in August and September 2012 to comply with sanctions imposed on Iran's oil and financial sectors by the US and the EU in early 2012.
