Continental Signs Sub-Contracts With Small-Scale Miners Over Buritica Project

News: TSX-listed Continental Gold has signed formalisation sub-contracts with five small scale mining organisations concerning its Buriticá project in Colombia. These sub-contracts are the first to be executed under the country's Law 1658 and would be regulated by Decree 480. The law reportedly places all the legal responsibilities of the project on the individual small-scale mining associations thereby ensuring the implementation of responsible small-scale mining operations at the project. In total, seven areas have been jointly selected by Continental gold and the small scale miners.
