Continental Launches New Production Facility In Kaluga

News: German automotive component supplier Continental has launched a new production facility of its Automotive Divisions at the company's site in Kaluga, Russia. The new facility will make engine control units, components for injection systems and fuel supply units. Continental has spent EUR24mn (USD32.8mn) in the facility, where 100 new jobs are expected to be generated by 2016. The opening of the new plant is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its foothold in the rapidly growing Russian automotive market.
