Colombian Firms To More Than Double Number of Wells Drilled In 2014

News: Colombian oil and gas companies are planning to more than double the number of wells drilled in 2014, reports BNamericas, citing the country's Mines and Energy Minister Amylkar Acosta. The companies will drill around 236 exploration wells in 2014, up from 115 wells drilled in 2013. The companies have been unsuccessful to discover major finds similar to Rubiales or Caño Limón, however, the companies have been discovering a steady stream of moderate discoveries, Acosta said.
