The company's sales rose 11% year-on-year to 395mn units in H112. The company sells the carbonated soft drink in Turkey, Pakistan, Central Asia and the Middle East.
BMI View: In line with our broader consumer outlook, we see the Turkish soft drinks industry performing very strongly to 2017, as income appreciation continues to fuel the industry and as the modern retail channels continue to develop across the country. Strong volume momentum is expected to continue in all categories, supported by premiumisation-driven value sales growth. Generally speaking, a majority Muslim population complements soft drinks very well, while their low base also indicates the substantial longer-term potential of the sector.
