Chinese Auto Company Considers Investment

News: A Chinese automotive company is looking to invest in a production plant in the Philippines, according to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). PEZA Director General Lilia de Lim stated that the company intends to begin with auto parts and later focus on vehicle assembly, reports the Philippine Star. Lim added that the company is also seeking a local partner. Besides this Chinese automotive company, several other companies are also keen to explore investment opportunities across the country with delegations from Denmark and Sweden arriving in May.
