Carlsberg Acquires 51% Stake In Zatecky Pivovar

News: Denmark-based brewing company Carlsberg has acquired a majority stake in the Zatecky Pivovar brewery in the Czech Republic, with an aim to tap into the growing market for Czech premium beer. The company will acquire a 51% stake in the brewery, which has a production capacity of 200,000 hectolitres, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will enable the company to roll out the brewery's brands Zatec and Celiain across selected markets.
