Call For Delay In Spectrum Sale

News: New Zealand-based telecoms company 2degrees has asked the country's government to leave an unsold block of radio spectrum available for future use, reports Cellular News. The company argued that any possible sale should be delayed until the results of a telecoms market review are published. This comes after a recent auction, in which Vodafone and Telecom took their full allocation of 2x15MHz, while 2degrees chose to take just 2x10Mhz. This left an unsold block of 2x5Mhz reserved, that can now be sold to either of the two other mobile networks.
