The intrusive features are similar to those seen in the Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper mineralised system in Western Australia's Fraser Range. The reported areas at Skogtrask were identified through ground magnetics and Transient Electro-Magnetic (TEM) programmes on the project. The explorer also encountered a strong one kilometre anomaly with a magnetic intensity of 40% of the earth's magnetic field.
