Bosch Unveils New Automotive Technology Centre

News: German automotive supplier Robert Bosch has unveiled an automotive technology centre - Bosch Warwick Technology Centre - in Coventry. Around 30 Bosch automotive engineers will be employed at the centre, which will mainly offer automotive and engineering services. The company intends to focus on offering engineering support to automakers in a bid to optimise its present technologies for specific applications along with creating new functionalities for particular systems.

BMI View: We believe that the ongoing growth witnessed in the autos production segment will facilitate growth across the supply chain. We expect to see increasing levels of domestic content in UK vehicle manufacturing, and ongoing investments across the supply chain on the back of continued growth in vehicle production. BMI 's has long-held a bullish view on the potential for the segment. As such, autos suppliers have been urged by the UK government to establish new production facilities in the country.
