Black Sea Nations Filling Egypt’s Wheat Tenders

News: Wheat exporters in the Black Sea region have dominated recent grain tenders made by Egypt, reports Agrimoney. In the 2012-13 season, Egypt has made six tenders for grain imports, all of which have been satisfied by Black Sea exporters. The overall volume of these orders now comes to 1.38mn tonnes wheat, at a cost of US$363mn including shipping. In the most recent order, 295,000 tonnes wheat were purchased by Egypt, with Ukraine, Romania and Russia filling the order.
