AT&T To Buy Sprint Licences

News: AT&T Mobility signed an agreement to buy 19 2,300MHz wireless communications services (WCS) spectrum licences from Sprint Corp. The concessions cover several locations across southern US, including markets in Louisiana, Florida, Texas, Georgia and Alabama. The financial details of the deal, which requires the approval from the US Federal Communications Commission, have not been disclosed yet. AT&T previously acquired WCS frequencies from NextWave Wireless, Comcast, Horizon Wi-Com and San Diego Gas & Electric Company.
