ASUS Releases Hybrid Tablet

News: Taiwan-based technology company ASUS released its new tablet in the Transformer line of Android tablets called the Transformer Book Trio, reports ZDNet. The main difference between the Trio and its predecessors is the Trio can also run Windows 8. Its other features include an 11.6-inch screen running Android on its Intel Atom processor, making it one of the few Android tablets running on the Intel platform. The tablet, which has two Intel processors and two operating systems, can also be run like a laptop when it is docked into a laptop dock. ASUS has not yet provided any details about the price or release date for the Trio.
