Asia Pacific Telecom Expedites 4G Launch

News: Taiwan telecoms operator Asia Pacific Telecom is speeding up the launch of commercial 4G operations in the country. The operator is now planning to launch 4G services in Q314, instead of its earlier plans of rolling out the services in Q414. Asia Pacific Telecom is planning to install 3,000 base stations throughout the country in 2014. The operator is also likely to take an initiative on voice over LTE among the LTE licence holders in the country.
