Altona Updates Outokumpu Project Resource

News: Australian copper mining company Altona Mining has announced an increased mineral resource of 8.8mn tonnes (mnt) at 1.33% copper, 0.78 g/t gold and 0.54% zinc at the Kylylahti underground mine within its Outokumpu copper project in Finland. The updated resource estimate is for a contained resource of 117,480 tonnes (t) of copper, 222,595 ounces (oz) of gold and 47,401t of zinc. The previous resource estimate stood at 7.7mnt, grading 1.31% copper, 0.68g/t gold and 0.52% zinc. A reserve estimate based on the updated resource is currently being prepared.
