Altibox To Roll Out 10Gbps FTTH Network

News: Norway-based triple-play provider Altibox will roll out a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network, with downlink transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps for residential subscribers. With effect from August 1, a 10Gbps package will cost NOK14,900 (USD2,515) a month, and a 1Gbps subscription will be priced at NOK1,490 (USD251.5) on a monthly basis. The existing subscribers will get improved download speeds at the same tariffs. The base level 25Mbps package will be expanded to 35Mbps costing NOK449 (USD75.79) per month and 60Mbps subscriptions will be increased to 75Mbps for NOK549 (USD92.67) a month.
