ACP Studies Construction Of Fourth Set Of Locks

News: The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) is studying the feasibility of constructing a fourth set of new locks that would accommodate super post-Panamax vessels, reports Breakbulk. The proposed fourth set of locks would run parallel to the third set of locks that is presently under construction. The third set of locks is part of the canal's US$5.2bn expansion project, which is planned to be completed in June 2015.
