Acciona Wins Hospital Deal

News: Spanish conglomerate Acciona secured a contract to build hospital, with 144 beds, in the city of Nogales in the Mexican state of Sonora. This will be the first general hospital of the Mexican Social Security Institute. The MXN623mn (US$47.22mn) hospital will serve 220,000 residents of Nogales and the towns of Magdalena, Benjamín Hill and Rocky Point. Construction work was started in the week ended March 29 and is scheduled to be completed in 2015. The hospital will be built in accordance with the international standards of sustainable building, with solar panels erected on the roof or structures for thermal insulation.
