Vietnam: Southeast Asia's Forgotten Darling?
Against a backdrop of a slowing regional economy, Vietnam looks poised to buck the trend next year with faster GDP growth on the back of a buoyant manufacturing sector. Meanwhile, things are also looking up in the agribusiness space, where we see strong growth opportunities for rice, coffee, livestock, and dairy as a result of the country's positive business environment trajectory. On top of that, increases in electricity tariffs as well as deregulation efforts are leading to a flurry of private sector activity in Vietnam's thermal generation sector.
