Xander, APG Asset Management Announce New Venture

News: On May 5, global private equity lender The Xander Group along with an investor consortium led by the Dutch pension fund asset manager APG Asset Management announced the establishment of a USD300mn venture for Indian markets. The new venture will purchase income-generating commercial assets across India's prime office markets. The size of the venture may increase to USD500mn if buying opportunities continue to emerge with time. The new venture targets the continued strong tenant demand for office space specifically from financial services and information technology industries which serve global businesses from hubs in India. The venture will primarily focus on built and leased office assets in Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.
