US Mac Shipments Decline
News: Apple's Mac computer sales fell at a rate of 56 times that of the industry average in the US during Q313, reports IT News. Research showed Apple's PC shipment sales in the US were down 11.2% y-o-y to 1.9mn machines during Q313, compared to the PC sector contracting just 0.2% as sales improved. Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Lenovo and Toshiba posted positive growth for Q313. The decline in Apple's Mac sales is a result of a lack of new Mac products from the company as 'when Apple ships a new (Mac), sales zoom up'.
