News: The tourism industry in Nigeria is expected to increase employment opportunities in the country in 2014, according to Wale Odeyemi, the zonal coordinator for the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, South West Campus. The development of more hotels and recreation centres across the country is likely to offer prospects for unemployed youths in particular, Odeyemi said. 'There is hardly a place you travel to without noticing a new hotel being opened. Such a development will indeed boost employment in 2014, if the trend continues,' said Odeyemi, as quoted by the News Agency of Nigeria.
