Richter's Shares Expected To Rejoin MSCI Index, Says CEO Bogsch
News: Hungarian drugmaker Gedeon Richter's shares are expected to rejoin Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI)'s Hungarian index shortly, reports radio station Gazdasagi, citing the company's CEO Erik Bogsch. The company's shares have risen more than 9% since September 24, when French drugmaker Servier offered to buy all outstanding shares of Hungarian pharmaceutical company Egis. Subsequent to the conclusion of the offer, Egis will be delisted from the Budapest Stock Exchange and this will leave Richter the only listed drugmaker in Hungary. Equity investors also expect the company to return to the MSCI index very soon, Bogsch added.
