Retail Sales Decline Continues In March

News: Singaporean retail sales at current prices declined 3.9% on a seasonally adjusted basis in March in comparison to the same period a year ago, according to data released by the Department of Statistics Singapore on May 15. The figure marks a decline for the second straight month; however, the fall was at a slower pace against February's record 9.7% decline. Economists had estimated a 3.8% fall for the reported period. Retail sales except motor vehicles reduced 0.4% year-on-year in the same month (RTT).
