NTT DoCoMo Introduces Cloud Storage Service


News: Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo has introduced a cloud data storage service for its mobile customers in the country. The service will initially cover streaming of music and video to enable smartphone users to access the content on various devices, reports The Nikkei. The operator plans to include photo sharing services later in September and phone book and e-mail data storage services later in 2012 to its data storage portfolio. The operator's subscribers will be allotted a space of up to 5GB and the service may be opened up for KDDI and Softbank Mobile subscribers in the future.
