News In Brief: Troll And Buzzard Outages To Put Pressure On North Sea Supply
News: Output from state-run Norwegian oil company Statoil's Troll crude oil stream and Nexen's Buzzard oil field in the North Sea is expected to decline sharply in September 2012. The Troll crude oil stream is scheduled to load five cargoes in September 2012, compared with 14 cargoes in August 2012, owing to maintenance work. Daily supply is expected to average 100,000 barrels per day (b/d) in September 2012, compared with 271,000b/d in August 2012. Supply of Forties grade is also likely to decline due to maintenance work at the Buzzard oil field.
