News: Ghana's Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has said that an ongoing dispute with Côte d'Ivoire over the oil-rich area off the coast of Ghana is expected to be settled by June. Both nations have drafted a road map to address the conflict in the area in the deep waters of the Western Region, portions of which are claimed by Côte d'Ivoire. 'We have exchanged documents we intend to rely on as we work together to attain an amicable solution to the matter,' said Fuseini, reports GhanaWeb. He added that the conflict was being tackled within the structure of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. In addition, the technical teams from both countries will determine the geographical boundaries of the disputed area.
