Kinetiko Drills First Amersfoort Pilot Well

News: Australian explorer Kinetiko Energy has spudded the first of three new pilot wells at its Amersfoort project in South Africa. The KA-06PT well is Kinetiko's sixth pilot production well on the Amersfoort project northern licence (56ER). The well has been drilled with the aim of testing gassy sandstones and coal-bed methane horizons already identified in previous exploration core holes drilled at the project. The well is being drilled to a total depth of 450 metres, with drilling expected to be completed by end of October. First gas from the well is expected to be produced by the week ending October 5.
