IAG Cargo Reports 7% Fall In Q1 Revenue

News: IAG Cargo, the cargo business of British Airways and Iberia, registered a 7% year-on-year (y-o-y) fall in revenue to EUR250mn (USD345mn) in Q1. The revenue is in line with weak market conditions that continue to prevail, according to CEO Steve Gunning. The air freight company posted a 0.5% y-o-y rise in volumes to 1,371mn cargo tonne-kilometres, while capacity remained stable in the reported period. However, overall yield was 3.8% down in the same period (TransREporter).
