Gasoline Imports Decline On Rising Processing Output

News: Mexican state-owned oil company Pemex has announced that gasoline imports had declined by around 10% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 359,000 barrels per day (b/d) in Mexico in 2013. The company stated that it had processed 437,000b/d of gasoline from refineries in the country during 2013, which is a rise of 5% y-o-y. The company's increased gasoline processing had helped to reduce the country's gasoline imports, Pemex added. Subsidiary Pemex Refinación had sold an average of 787,000b/d of automotive gasoline during the reported period.
