Dubai Frame Project To Start In December 2013

News: Construction work on the AED120mn (US$32.6mn) Dubai Frame, near the Star Gate of Zabeel Park in the UAE, is expected to begin in December 2013 and is likely to be ready by H215. The landmark, which is expected to have up to 2mn visitors a year, resembles a huge picture frame, at the base of which will be a museum. On one side of the 150m high, 93m wide structure, landmarks like Emirates Towers and Burj Khalifa can be viewed, while on the other, the city's older regions like Deira, Umm Harair and Karama can be seen. 'We have already opened tenders and will be giving the contract to the appropriate contractors, according to our plan,' Director General of Dubai Municipality Hussain Nasser Lootah said (ConstructionWeekOnline).
