DNA Signs Agreement With Ericsson

News: Finnish telecoms operator DNA has finalised an agreement with Swedish technology firm Ericsson for supplying a new LTE 800MHz network across the country. Under the agreement, Ericsson will also help the operator to enhance its existing 2G, 3G and LTE networks. Ericsson is rolling out the latest multi-standard RBS 6000 family of base stations and network management products along with providing network roll out services like installation, civil works, integration, commissioning and associated project management. Additionally, Ericsson will also provide support for software, hardware, initial tuning and spare parts management services. The LTE network is anticipated to cover 80% of the country's population by the end of 2014.
