China National Machinery Import And Export Corporation Delivers Fourth Vessel To Cuba

News: Chinese shipbuilder China National Machinery Import and Export Corporation has announced that it has delivered a fourth vessel to the Cuban government, reports Hellenic Shipping News. The company will deliver a further six vessels to Cuba by mid-2013. The 10-vessel shipbuilding programme is intended to facilitate the rehabilitation of the Cuban merchant marine fleet. The first vessel was delivered in August 2011. The new 35,000-tonne vessel is named T he Mariana in honour of the mother of Cuban revolutionary hero Antonio Maceo.
