CHEC Signs EPC Contract With Abidjan Port Authority

News: China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract worth US$933mn with the Abidjan Port Authority in Côte d'Ivoire. The project will be carried out at the Abidjan port extension. The contract entails waterway and basin dredging, development of a container and a ro-ro terminal, and construction of waterway breakwater reconstruction among others. The project will promote the infrastructural and economic development of the country and is likely to enhance Abidjan's position as a regional shipping centre.
