ANMAT Publishes New Rules For Seizure Of Fake Drugs
News: Argentina's National Drug, Food and Medical Technology Administration (ANMAT) has published new rules for the seizure of fake batches of medicine. The new guidelines set criteria for granting certificates of good manufacturing practices for medicinal products. The rules, which came into force on September 10, also lay down conditions for closure of pharmaceutical plants that fail to comply with good manufacturing practices in Argentina. Moreover, the guidelines list conditions for the recall of a product or complete batch, and for taking immediate corrective actions to improve the quality of products.
